The Inventory app is the single source of truth for what you have and where. Every receipt, delivery and adjustment is a tracked move, and stock value updates on the balance sheet the moment it changes — no month-end stock-take to reconcile the numbers.
How stock moves#
Quelixa models inventory as movements between locations. A receipt moves goods from a vendor location into your warehouse; a delivery moves them from the warehouse to the customer. Because every change is a move, you get complete traceability.

Stock value is recomputed on every move using your costing method (standard, FIFO or average). The matching journal entry posts automatically, so Inventory and Accounting never drift apart.
Receive and deliver#
- Receive against a PO
Open the incoming transfer the purchase order created, confirm the quantities, and validate. Stock is now on hand.
- Deliver against an order
A confirmed sales order requests a delivery. Pick, pack and validate it; stock leaves and the order can be invoiced.
- Transfer internally
Move stock between warehouses or bin locations with an internal transfer, keeping the system in step with the floor.
Traceability#
Track goods by lot or serial number for full upstream-and-downstream traceability — essential for food, pharma, electronics and anything under recall obligations.
Lot/serial tracking is set per product and applies to future moves. Enable it before receiving stock you need to trace — historical moves can't be retroactively serialised.
Counts & accuracy#
Physical inventory counts let you reconcile the system to reality without freezing operations. Count a location, enter the actual quantity, and Quelixa posts the adjustment and its valuation impact.
